Hawaii 2018 – Part 3

The beginning of February saw some good swells come through. Hawaii was finally getting some good waves. I was able to get in the water a few times before the Volcom Pipe Pro got completely underway and was able to score some waves. Another huge swell was predicted to come through and we knew there should be some swell to back up the good first week of February. The swell came and began to rear its ugly head with some massive swell. The swell filled in and with a good few days we were back on track. It was so good to get some consistent waves as well as head down and get some of the sandbar slabs in the afternoon.

As the first week also had its smaller days we head down to Keiki to shoot some shorebreak photos. I was able to capture some of my best photos yet. The water was crystal clean and the swell had seemed to shape the bank to allow for the waves to be breaking a little further out than it had been. I was feeling good in the water being able to get some moments that will be with me forever.
