Hawaii 2018 – Part 2

“The waves have been slow” – is the most commonly heard phrase from this season in Hawaii. It has been tough to stay motivated and waiting to get waves. I have really been struggling not having a car on the island and using a bike but I am making the most of getting some training in at home. Moving into the new year is always tough to stay on top of your game and work harder than before. I have made a decision to get at least some training in while I am here in order to be ready to get back to working with Philip Nel in Cape Town.

In the last two weeks its head down. Trying to get some of my frustrations of getting no waves and focusing on my plans for 2018. I am really eager to get home and put into action what I have set out for myself. Not get too busy so I lose concentration on what is really needed but enough that I can be ready to take on this year. Although it hasn’t been too many waves, I have been able to get some photos in.
